| Bio: | Gotta say this bit first cos that crappy Interests interface wouldn't do it for me....my main interest is my other half...Caroline, my wife. Shes great!! **STUPID GRIN** She's the most important interest for me but somehow when you list them i dont think she would like to rated up there with "nasty hawaiian shirts" do you? Well as most of you will already know me then I wont bore you all but for those lucky...or should that be unlucky peeps who have yet to experience the delights of my 'orrible sense of dress and terrible sense of humour then buckle up!! I am Jason or Jase as most of my friends know me. I live with Caroline the new missus in deepest darkest Portsmouth, the LARP Blackhole of the known universe, well i say that but Stu Laws lives round the corner. Caroline doesn't mind, she hated LARPing! But at least she lets me talk about eventing for a week before and a week after each event....thats why I try to get them a fortnight apart...shhhh..don't tell her! I guess if you know me through LARP then I had better explain who or what I am.....I am an LT Larper, that means, that yes i like to beat my mates up in a field a couple of times a year!! HEY its my disfunction!!!! OK? So where was i? Oh yeah so I do LARP, its great and all my mates are there...ssshhhh...don't tell 'em I called 'em mates otherwise they'll put the restraining order back in place!! In the real-world I am afraid I am a boring Mechanical Eng. Draughtsman by trade following my technical apprenticeship at Vosper Thornycroft Shipbuilding. I recently got made redundant by a big company down this way (VT again) and now I am looking to start contract work to make ends meet. Its kinda like selling your soul to an agency and then letting them pimp your skills to other people. But hey...it pays the bills. NEW NEWS.....the contracting is working, money is good, tax avoidance as opposed to evasion is good. Its all gravy as they say in the ghetto! I am now in PDM Support for a major southwestern aerospace company.....ok its Airbus. Also on a sadder note i have been diagnosed as having Diabetes, they dont know for sure whether i am Type I or II yet so we wait with baited breath!! It kinda sucks but I spose I'd much rather have found out sooner that later!! So anyone who catches me with alcomoholic beverage in hand must slap me or the same applies for anything that normal people would find nice to eat!! I'm like a Gremlin...don't get me wet, and don't feed me and come to think of it bright lights ain't too good either. So there ya go...that me in a nutshell, if ya wanna know owt else then just ask! | |
